Heide Night

Being a museum for modern arts, Heide Museum aligns with other Museum of Modern Arts in targeting the audience of young adults for their higher purchase power and more engaging dynamic. This strategy aims to refocus the audience of Heide with an interactive and contemporary art experience. Hosted in the evening with the assist of light projections, this matches the lifestyle of most young adults to present them a spot for evening entertainment. This also encourages the ideology of Heide for young artists to share ideas at this iconic place to continue the legacy of Heide arts.

Heide Night is aimed to be an inspirational event that reflects the history of cultivating artists. With the use of light to exaggerate the idea of viewing art in another perspective, the event looks to bring a contemporary review to arts and encourage visitors to participate in art creation.

Yingabeal will also be a part of the story in understanding the aboriginal story in the areas with artists from the aboriginal community to participate in the creation of projection artwork and live talks.

The Heide Night will be hosted along the 2021 White Night. Heide Night is a light-dominated experience that is more than a celebratory and entertaining event but an exploration of artistic inspirations. Tickets will be available for purchase prior to the hosting date with transportation options available from the city as an optional extra. Heide Night expects to have 400 visitors. If the first trial is successful, Heide Night will extend as a regular event twice a year.

Heide Museum of Modern Art has three car parks to accommodate visitors who are driving while public transport options are also available with bus route 903. As a convenience to the visitors, shuttle buses can be arranged to carry visitors from a nearby train station to and from the museum.
