Victa Lawn Mower

Approach

The main idea of the typography is aimed at delivering the ease in using Victa lawn mower by using clear words and symbolic representation. The choosing of “no effort” is short yet direct to convey the message in very understandable manner.

 

Synonym is used not to clash with the words in brand positioning line, while still showing the audience the ability of the mower in comparison to other brands. The font “Impact” inspired the creation of this typography. The characteristic width of the font while presenting in flat allow the application of lawn on top of “no effort”. The starting letters of “No” and “Effort” are linked together to present as the path of the lawn mower. The contrast between the untrimmed and trimmed part carry the ideological message about the effectiveness of the Victa lawn mower. The white background is used to emphasise the change in grass for better delivery. The shadow is added to highlight the words on the white background while, also, provide the lawn a realistic and eye-catching image. Overall, an minimalistic approach is chosen to present the encoded message as directly as possible.
